Introduction
TJ Electrical, a leading electrical services provider, is committed to enhancing the wellbeing of its workforce while prioritising sustainability. To improve on-site welfare facilities, the company sought an eco-friendly solution that aligned with its environmental objectives.
The Requirement
TJ Electrical required welfare units that provided essential amenities without the high emissions and costs associated with traditional diesel-powered options. The company needed a solution that combined comfort, efficiency and sustainability.
The Solution
TJ Electrical partnered with ecowelfare to deploy two fully solar-powered welfare units on their sites. The first 12ft unit was designed to include a canteen, a dry room, and a toilet, while the second 12ft unit featured a canteen alongside two proper flushing toilets. These self-sufficient, eco-friendly units provided reliable, off-grid welfare facilities that significantly lowered fuel usage and carbon emissions, while ensuring comfort and convenience for the workforce.
The Conclusion
- Zero fuel costs – Fully solar-powered, eliminating the need for diesel.
- Over 153 litres of fuel saved – Cutting operational expenses and reducing environmental footprint.
- Almost 487kg of CO2 emissions avoided – Supporting TJ Electrical Group’s sustainability goals.
- Enhanced workforce welfare – Providing a modern, comfortable facility for on-site teams.
