The Requirement
Bell Groups key beliefs highlight their values that sustainable growth is the key to building a successful business and having a lasting impact on our environment and society. By creating a ‘customer experience’ and operating with a social conscience the have differentiated ourselves from our competitors.
To assist in sustainability across its operations, including construction site welfare facilities they decided that traditional diesel-powered welfare cabins posed challenges in terms of carbon emissions, operational noise, and maintenance costs.
The Solution
Bell Group turned to their national toilet and welfare supplier ecowelfare, who had recently introduced their revolutionary new range of ecowelfare units, powered by Solar Powered Generator Free technology. This solution was introduced to a housing estate project in Andover that offered Bell Group a virtually emission free and sustainable alternative to conventional diesel-powered welfare units which in turn was favoured by the main contractor and residents.
The Conclusion
The Generator Free Solar Powered ecowelfare unit by Boss Cabins, in collaboration with ecowelfare, has proven to be an effective, sustainable solution for construction site welfare.
It aligns with United Living’s Net Zero goals by reducing carbon emissions, lowering operational costs, and minimizing noise pollution.
This case study underscores the potential for innovative, environmentally friendly solutions to transform site operations, paving the way for a more sustainable construction industry.
